To foster these connections, our sisterhood meets monthly for dinner, teaching and prayer. Annual luncheons have also been a major highlight to celebrate our bond and most importantly, to invite those who are not necessarily involved in church fellowship outside of Sunday services. One such event that is always been an extraordinary celebration of our growing connection and the birth of our Lord has been an annual Christmas gathering, hosted by Melissa and Marcia, two of our sisters that have faithfully served at the Fountain for years.
We chose the name Heart 2 Heart Sisters because we wanted each lady to be sensitive to one another’s needs at the heart level, to rejoice with those who rejoice and to weep with those who weep.
2020 has been a year that presented significant challenges, with restrictions on in person meetings and uncertainty that has impaired the normalcy of how we meet and connect. Looking forward, we are committed to expanding opportunities to deepen fellowship and to minister to one another. Thankfully strong bonds have developed over the years, and facing these new challenges have only strengthened those bonds.
